Semra ERENER ÖZALÇIN Atlas Global

Semra Erener Özalçın currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer of Atlasglobal Airlines.Her main responsibility is to protect and serve the best interests of Atlasglobal in all relations and commercial / international agreements made with external organizations such as Foreign Civil Aviation Authorities, Domestic and Foreign Ministries, ICAO, AEA and IATA.

To be able to achieve this, she actively participates in the identification and development of all marketing and sales policies and strategies and coordinates the sales organizationand relevant Directorates, to ensure revenue maximisation in line with commercial policy and strategy, by estimating future passenger demand, taking into consideration the current market conditions.

She plays a key role with teams for identifying new destinations suitable for Atlas’ hub and spoke network, in line with Atlasglobal growth strategy and the coordinating of the required feasibility studies and project planning of the opening of these routes in collaboration with the relevant internal Directorates.

In addition to these main functions she has beendealing and coordinating with Atlasglobal Cargo and Haj Umrah operations with the planning and adoption of suitable new strategies in new marketssince February 2015.

Previously in her role as Route&Revenue and Sales&Marketing Director, Semra was incharge of the coordination and management of Domestic and International sales offices, including providing sales targets, activating distribution channels to improve sales performance while at the same time managing agreements to minimize distribution channel costs.

Between January 2011 to 2013, Semra provided executive consultancy to the Board of Hitit CS, a global airline solutions provider. Semraassisted and provided expertise with the application development of Hitit’s Scheduling, Slot Management and Schedule Optimizing systems.

In her fifteen years at Turkish Airlines, Semra served in seven different departments, of which five were Managerial roles. During this period, one of her major responsibilities was overseeing and coordinating the management of all Turkish Airlines sales offices, airport and personnel activity in Asia & the Far East while acting as S.V.P Asia & Far East. High level responsibilities also included analyzing MIDT reports and forecasting market trends for the region to drive new sales and promotional strategies.

Before being assigned as S.V.P. Asia& Far East,Semrawas the Scheduling Manager for Turkish Airlines where she played a pivotal role, planning and managing all aspects of THY’s scheduling procedures in line with the airlines strategies and objectives while restructuringTHY’s scheduling system from 4 banks to 6.

Early responsibilities a t THY included preparing and distributing analysis of THY traffic results and various industry related reports by using the company datawarehouse, coordinating data sharing issues with the other airlines and aviation associates on behalf of Turkish Airlines.

Semra attendeda Marketing Master Class at Istanbul University and has earned an Industrial Engineering degree from İzmir  Dokuz Eylul Universitesi.
